Celebrating 400 Years of NYC Stories: This summer, NYC Parks is proud to partner with NYC Tourism as part of the Founded By NYC campaign, celebrating 400 years of the City's rich history and cultural impact. 10 of the Movies Under the Stars screenings (2 in each borough) will feature films shot in New York City — highlighting the streets, stories, and spirit that make our city iconic.

The Warriors follows a street gang falsely accused of the murder of a respected gang leader. They must fight their way through rival gang territory and return to their home turf on Coney Island.

The following movie has been rated R. It is intended for mature audiences. Parents may wish to consider whether it should be viewed by children under 17.

Movies begin at dusk. This event is FREE and open to the public. Glass bottles and alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited. In the event of heavy rain or extreme weather, the screening may be canceled. The decision to cancel the event will be made prior to the screening and will be prominently posted on our website.
