Yoga with Erica Chen

This summer, our free Wednesday evening yoga class is back on the lawn! Please register for each class and bring your own mat (the park does not provide yoga mats). We also recommend bringing water and a towel. Our yoga classes are appropriate for all levels of practice.
Erica Chen has always had a passion for movement. As a former dancer, she practiced yoga to initially supplement her dancing, and over time realized how much she appreciated that the yoga practice was a safe space for her to move her body without judgment. As her dreams shifted, Erica completed her 200hr and mentorship through Yoga Vida NYC in 2014, and has since completed the Pre/Postnatal certification through Ishta Yoga, 300hr Hatha training through Yoga Oasis in Tucson, Restorative Yoga training under Abby Paloma, Sequencing training through Roam LA, and her Katonah Yoga certification. Erica has also had the privilege of leading domestic and international yoga retreats with her former retreat company, Om Tribe Yoga Retreats.
Erica is now the co-founder and CCO for House of Flow, a lead teacher trainer for Yoga Vida and Yoga Pod Tucson, and is the co-author for the yoga photography coffee table book, My Yoga. My City. | Volume 1 (NYC). She strives to create dynamic, intuitive, and challenging yet accessible yoga sequences in her classes; she is dedicated to bringing the practice to others to ultimately change lives, like yoga has changed hers. You can find her teaching classes in Brooklyn and NYC, or travel with her on one of her future retreats.
